Radware (News - Alert) stated that its Alteon application delivery controllers (ADC) will hereon feature its own FastView, a new Web Performance Optimization (WPO) technology that can increase web application response times for any browser and end-user device.

Radware’s Alteon ADC (News - Alert) solution is designed to provide advanced and comprehensive application delivery capabilities that can help users face the challenges of application deployment and application delivery in today’s data centers. It is equipped with advanced application acceleration capabilities, a global server load balancing solution and a comprehensive layer seven modification tool.

The company explained that the FastView technology will be more suitable for e-Commerce, e-Retail, Web portals, online financial services and other online businesses. Along with Alteon platform’s application acceleration capabilities, it can ensure more page visits, higher customer loyalty, more returning customers, higher conversion rates, and higher revenue.

Businesses today depend on their web application performance and every second of delay is stated to have a major business impact in terms of customer satisfaction, conversion ratio and generated revenue.

FastView delivers WPO best practices that are based on highly researched techniques and removes the overhead of manual application optimization. Users do not need to alter their infrastructure to bring down efforts and costs with this new technology. FastView employs two methods – reduction in the number of server request and the content size – which results in significantly faster performing web applications on first views and repeated views.

The FastView integrated into the ADCs can bring down the costs of acceleration web applications, while enhancing the ADC’s core values and delivering higher solution return on investment.

“Website performance directly impacts an organization's ability to service its customers and to generate more revenues, which affects a business's bottom-line. Slow-loading pages and Web page errors are deterrents between the site and visitors, driving business away. With the launch of FastView and Application Performance Monitoring, we are helping our customers optimize and monitor Web application performance in real-time so they can improve their business performance through faster page loads, a better user experience, and higher search engine rankings – all leading to more revenue”, commented Avi Chesla, chief technology officer of Radware, in a press release.
